ओ३म का अर्थ क्या है? ॐ in Hindi
ओ३म् (ॐ) या ओंकार का नामांतर प्रणव है। यह ईश्वर का वाचक है। ईश्वर के साथ ओंकार का वाच्य-वाचक-भाव संबंध नित्य है, सांकेतिक नहीं। संकेत नित्य या स्वाभाविक संबंध को प्रकट करता है। सृष्टि के आदि में सर्वप्रथम ओंकाररूपी प्रणव का ही स्फुरण होता है। तदनंतर सात करोड़ मंत्रों का आविर्भाव होता है। इन मंत्रों के वाच्य आत्मा के देवता रूप में प्रसिद्ध हैं। ये देवता माया के ऊपर विद्यमान रह कर मायिक सृष्टि का नियंत्रण करते हैं। इन में से आधे शुद्ध मायाजगत् में कार्य करते हैं और शेष आधे अशुद्ध या मलिन मायिक जगत् में। इस एक शब्द को ब्रह्मांड का सार माना जाता है, 16 श्लोकों में इसकी महिमा वर्णित है।
What is the Meaning of ॐ in Hindi?
Om is a sacred sound and a spiritual icon in Hindu religion. It is also a mantra in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism.
Om is part of the iconography found in ancient and medieval era manuscripts, temples, monasteries and spiritual retreats in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The symbol has a spiritual meaning in all Indian dharmas, but the meaning and connotations of Om vary between the diverse schools within and across the various traditions.
In Hinduism, Om is one of the most important spiritual symbols (pratima). It refers to Atman (soul, self within) and Brahman (ultimate reality, entirety of the universe, truth, divine, supreme spirit, cosmic principles, knowledge).The syllable is often found at the beginning and the end of chapters in the Vedas, the Upanishads, and other Hindu texts. It is a sacred spiritual incantation made before and during the recitation of spiritual texts, during puja and private prayers, in ceremonies of rites of passages (sanskara) such as weddings, and sometimes during meditative and spiritual activities such as Yoga.
The syllable is also referred to as omkara (ओंकार, oṃkāra), aumkara (औंकार, auṃkāra), and pranava (प्रणव, praṇava).
ॐ का महत्व, रहस्य तथा लाभ
ओउ्म तीन शब्द ‘अ’ ‘उ’ ‘म’ से मिलकर बना है जो त्रिदेव ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और महेश तथा त्रिलोक भूर्भुव: स्व: भूलोक भुव: लोक तथा स्वर्ग लोक का प्रतीक है।
पद्माशन में बैठ कर इसका जप करने से मन को शांति तथा एकाग्रता की प्राप्ति होती है, वैज्ञानिकों तथा ज्योतिषियों को कहना है कि ओउ्म तथा एकाक्षरी मंत्र[ का पाठ करने में दाँत, नाक, जीभ सब का उपयोग होता है जिससे हार्मोनल स्राव कम होता है तथा ग्रंथि स्राव को कम करके यह शब्द कई बीमारियों से रक्षा तथा शरीर के सात चक्र (कुंडलिनी) को जागृत करता है।
Importance of ॐ in Hindi
Om came to be used as a standard utterance at the beginning of mantras, chants or citations taken from the Vedas. For example, the Gayatri mantra, which consists of a verse from the Rigveda Samhita (RV 3.62.10), is prefixed not just by Om but by Om followed by the formula bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ.Such recitations continue to be in use in Hinduism, with many major incantations and ceremonial functions beginning and ending with Om. Maheshwarananda (2002) suggests that the Om reflects the cosmological beliefs in Hinduism, as the primordial sound associated with the creation of universe from nothing.
The syllable “Om” is described with various meanings in the Upanishads. Descriptions include “the sacred sound, the Yes!, the Vedas, the Udgitha (song of the universe), the infinite, the all encompassing, the whole world, the truth, the ultimate reality, the finest essence, the cause of the Universe, the essence of life, the Brahman, the Atman, the vehicle of deepest knowledge, and Self-knowledge”.
